Components of Plastic Refractories Castable

The components of plastic refractory castable are mainly 70-80% refractory aggregates, 10-25% plastic clay, and binders. It is a kind of castable refractory material.

Refractory aggregates refer to powdered and granular refractory materials, including high alumina, aluminate, magnesia, zirconia, and so on. These materials enhance the physical and chemical properties of the castable.
Plastic clay improves the plasticity and strength of the castable.
Binders include glass, phosphates, sulfates, and so on. These thickeners enhance the workability of the castable, for example, by reducing setting time and increasing strength.
